Ellen J. Kennedy, Ph.D., the founder and Executive Director of World Without Genocide, will discuss the persecution of the Uyghurs in the Xinjiang region in Western China.

Kennedy received her B.A. degree in English and Psychology from the University of Michigan, master’s degrees in English and Communications from the University of Northern Michigan, and doctoral degrees in Marketing and Sociology from the University of Minnesota.

She is the founder and Executive Director of World Without Genocide, which provides education about past and current and advocates at local, state, and national levels for policies and legislation that promote peace and justice. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota.
