Please join us on Tuesday, February 18th for the fifth lecture in the 2020 series on the Holocaust and Genocide at Sonoma State University from 4-5:50 p.m. in Warren Auditorium of Ives Hall on the SSU campus.  Sonoma State University Professor Kathleen Noonan will be speaking on the Irish Famine.

Professor Noonan received her B.A. in History and English from Georgetown University. She received an M.A. in Modern and Early Modern European history and a Ph.D. in history from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  In addition to her work as a historian, she has extensive experience as an archivist and manuscript curator at Georgetown University and the University of California, Santa Barbara.  Her scholarly and research interests include Irish history.
